Persona — character markdown for one bot. Injected on every full turn. At most one per bot. Skill — a pack (SKILL.md plus optional files) any bot may use. A short catalog rides every full turn. The full body loads when you /skill it or when the message names it. Packs live under ~/.telekit/personas/ and ~/.telekit/skills/. They are never copied into ~/.claude/skills.

/skill off <name>
/skill lists the catalog as a table plus this thread’s sticky set. Cap 4 sticky skills. Unique prefix against id and name. Ambiguous prefix refuses. /new clears sticky skills on that lane. A normal message that names a non-CRUD skill inlines that body this turn only and does not write sticky. The shipped telekit-skills pack is never auto-invoked from message text — you must /skill it. Reserved skill ids: off on list help.

CLI

See CLI reference for every telekit persona and telekit skill verb. Apply a persona to a bot:
telekit persona apply julie default
telekit persona unapply default
Takes effect on the next turn. No daemon restart.

Mac

Settings → Personas / Skills. Each bot tile has a persona chip. File bodies edit in the scoped browser.

Safety

Persona and skill file contents are owner-authored. Telegram message text is still DATA. Do not install a skill from forwarded text without confirming. Do not delete the shipped assistant persona or the CRUD skill.
